Weight Loss Day by Day Diary:

Day 1: Sunday February 5, 2006.

In response to an email I received from a reader I have taken up her suggestion to share my next weight control program by publishing my weight loss diary in article form for everybody to follow.

I?ll start with a few personal details that will give you a guideline to make comparisons with your own progress.

- My height is a fraction over 6 feet. (1.83m)
- My current weight is 197 pounds (97.5 kilos)
- My target weight is 180 pounds (89 kilos.)
- My age is 65.
- My physical condition is basically sound but I do suffer from osteo-arthritis in both ankles. The left is severe the right isn?t much of a problem.

I guess the reason for coming clean on those personal details is to make the point that age or physical condition is a factor. Younger, fitter people will find this easier.

I have used this system to control my weight for close to thirty years now and it has never let me down. I use a very scientific measuring gauge known as a waistband. When it gets tight I need to lose some weight, when it goes slack I go back to my normal routine. Usually I only allow my weight to go over by 10 pounds (4.5 kilos) before taking action. This year it has soared due to a very busy January that flew past so quickly I barely noticed it leaving my Christmas weight gain to get worse. Now I have to lose 17 pounds (7.65 kilos) and that is what makes it more interesting and worth sharing the experience with you.

You will notice from the above paragraph I have no doubt that I will lose it and this is an important part of the weight loss mindset. If this is the first time you have attempted this system you will have to complete the first few goals to prove that you can do it; after that you will have the same degree of confidence that I have.

The first thing I must do is set goals. Adherence to and achievement of goals is the basic difference between winners and losers. Here I must be honest and tell you that 17 pounds seems like a mountain to me and I know that it will take me 17 weeks to successfully dispose of it. Hence I will not even look at losing 17 pounds as my initial goal. My goals are listed below:

- At the end of week 1 I will have abided by my goal of dropping one item of food from my diet each day without cheating. I will lose one pound (450 grams)

- By the end of week 2 I will have increased my walking/exercise periods from 10 minutes on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday to 12 minutes each session. I will have lost 2 pounds.

- By the end of February I will exercise Monday, Wednesday and Saturday for 15 minutes each time. My weight will be 194 pounds (96 kilos)

That is enough for now: I will update my goals as I go along. As you can see my weight loss goals are simple and within reach without too much effort. Why? Because we must all start training our minds to achieve our goals. If I set a goal to lose 10 pounds in one week and I only lose eight I will look upon myself as a loser and soon give up. To be of use goals must be achievable or they will soon cease to function for us. - I have entered my first three goals in my diary and tomorrow we start in earnest.

You can follow this diary via RSS, your favorite article site or at my website in the news blogs section.

Secrets To The Weight Loss After Pregnancy

If You Are Not A Certified IDIOT and Want to Loss Your Weight INSTANTLY Then CICK HERE

>>  WEIGHT LOSS INSTANTLY - SIMPLE DIET PLAN THAT MAKES YOU CRAZY - CLICK HERE <<

Sarah is a pregnant mother of three who continues to breast-feed her 18-month-old. After each of her pregnancies, she has had difficulty losing weight. With all of her responsibilities, weight loss isn?t a priority. Still, she wishes that, once this pregnancy is over, she will be able to return to her pre-marriage weight.

The average woman gains more than 25 pounds during her pregnancy. The procedure of childbirth may result in a weight loss of up to 14 pounds, which means that new moms still have considerable weight to lose once they leave the hospital. However, some women simply assume that this ?baby fat? will never go away. Yet, it is entirely possible to lose weight during the post-partum period.

A number of medical experts recommend easing into a weight loss program after the birth of your baby. This means that you will not start dieting until about three months following birth. You should combine a low-fat diet with moderate exercise in order to achieve weight loss.

Don?t expect instant results. It will take you a good nine months to get back to your weight prior to pregnancy. A go-slow approach is best because you need to give your body time to recover after childbirth. Certainly, you might be able to lose weight faster, but you might be sacrificing valuable nutrients as a result.

Interestingly enough, breastfeeding actually enhances weight loss. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has found that breastfeeding leads to the release of hormones which enable your uterus to return to its normal size. However, breastfeeding alone won?t bring down your weight. You need to combine it with a sensible diet and a moderate exercise program. Keep in mind that you need to have at least 1800 calories a day while breastfeeding in order to keep yourself and your baby healthy. Still, stay clear of junk food during this period. You should rely on food with high nutritional value to maintain the proper level of calories each day.

There are many good reasons to exercise during the post-partum period. In addition to helping to accelerate weight reduction, exercise can help alleviate post-partum depression, improve your mood, and boost your confidence. Exercise can also ?clear your head? so that you?re better able to meet the demands of motherhood. You might consider joining a ?Mommy and Me? exercise class so that your baby can exercise right along with you. Another helpful hint is to enlist the help of a friend or relative to act as your exercise buddy so that you?ll have some emotional support while exercising. An added bonus of exercise is that it should boost your energy level, which is quite important when battling the fatigue which comes from caring for a newborn.

Your diet should generally be low-fat but not fat-free; vitamin rich; and high-fiber. Under no circumstances should you go on a fad diet. Such a diet could be quite harmful to your health and could actually slow your recovery from childbirth. It?s a good idea to set weight-loss goals, but don?t go overboard. Recognize that there?s a limit to the amount of weight you can lose during a given period of time.

You may see a number of actress-moms gracing the covers of magazines shortly after the birth of their children. They appear svelte and elegant, totally devoid of baby fat. In the accompanying article, they may even talk about exercising right after childbirth. Such articles send new mothers a dangerous message: that you must do all you can to become thin as quickly as possible after your baby is born. Such a philosophy is not only ridiculous, it?s also unhealthy. As a result, you?ll need to ?tune out? such messages from the media and stay the course with your own gradual weight loss plan.

The time right after the birth of a child can be quite challenging, taxing both your physical and emotional strength. While it is certainly a good idea to eat healthy, you?ll need to pace yourself as far as weight loss is concerned. Over time, you should be able to lose the weight you gained during your pregnancy. In fact, you might find that you?re actually healthier after your baby is born.

How weight loss enhances sexual life

If You Are Not A Certified IDIOT and Want to Loss Your Weight INSTANTLY Then CICK HERE

>>  WEIGHT LOSS INSTANTLY - SIMPLE DIET PLAN THAT MAKES YOU CRAZY - CLICK HERE <<

Weight loss can be big boon for our sexual life. Recent findings suggests that high blood pressure associated with obesity can cause a lowered libido or lower sexual drive in men and women and in some cases it can cause bouts with impotence. A recent study done by a psychologist at Duke University suggests that a healthy weight can improve intimacy both physiologically and psychologically.

It certainly helps in bed to have less of a stomach, because simple physics says that if you've got a big belly sticking out, you're not going to give your partner the full effect or satisfaction in some positions. Losing weight can improve a person's sex life to a great extent. Apart from improving performance or confidence in the bedroom, a healthy weight decreases stress on major joints including ankles, hips and knees, and lowers the chance of diabetes and heart disease.

Most women would prefer a tighter body to a sloppier one, thus increasing physical attraction leads to increased sexual drive. Therefore weight loss can play a big role in bringing romance back into your life. It helps in enhancing the libido in both men and women and helps to sustain the rigorous activity involved in sexual intercourse for a longer period. Libido is the medical word for sexual desire. Research suggests that weight loss also helps in achieving more satisfying or more frequent orgasm and helps to get rid off impotence and erectile dysfunction.

A healthy body can only boost of a healthy sex life. To keep your body in a perfect shape, always try to indulge in a healthy lifestyle and proper exercise. In case of initiating weight loss process, you can opt for diet pills as well. The new breed of diet pills such as phentermine, adipex and xenical can help you realize your weight loss desire within a short span of time. So, control your weight and enhance your sexual life.

The Link between Yoga, Mindfulness, and Weight Loss - Part 2

If You Are Not A Certified IDIOT and Want to Loss Your Weight INSTANTLY Then CICK HERE

>>  WEIGHT LOSS INSTANTLY - SIMPLE DIET PLAN THAT MAKES YOU CRAZY - CLICK HERE <<

Some of you may still do this, but remember when most people gave thanks, prayed, or said grace at the table? We can still be thankful to our family members or their company, the cook for his or her skill, to those who brought the food home, and to God, or your concept of a higher being, for your existence.

Meals should be for nutrition, bonding, and thanks. Meals should not be "wolfed down," while watching television or while driving in the car.

One of the aspects of Yoga, which is covered in a typical Yoga class, is that of mindfulness in every part of life. You become more conscious of your breathing, posture, speech, what you eat, and much more. Through steady Yoga practice, you learn to live life in the present moment and to appreciate what you have.

Some of us are rich in love, but have little money. Some of us are rich with money and have no one who really loves us. When you look at love or money both can be turned into good or bad situations. It is really up to us, whether we want to make the most of what we have.

Making the most out of simple pleasures is living life to its fullest potential. So, instead of "shoveling" your food away, Yoga students should take the time to enjoy the finer things in life. This is not to say that we should engage in gluttony, but instead to connect with your inner being at mealtime and be mindful of everything. Eat with your family, when possible, and make it a pleasant experience, together, at the kitchen table.

Your inner self or self is sometimes called "atman" or "jiva." This is the "creature" imprisoned within all of us. We all enjoy eating and want to savor every earthly pleasure to its fullest, but mindfulness makes us aware of much more than consumption of food and earthly pleasures. Therefore, mindfulness can be a natural dieting tool at mealtime.

How is this possible? When you see food - give thanks and tune into your senses. You do not have to give thanks verbally, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, but you should make it a mental exercise, before every meal. This will help your spiritual health and slow the pace of eating down.

The senses of sight, and smell, come into play long before your first bite, so take the time to be mindful of them after you have given thanks. Eat for the right reasons. Those reasons should be: your health and your life.

Eating should be nutritionally dense, in moderation, and in the best possible frame of mind. Be mindful of every bite, your digestive process, and all your senses. This pace will slow you down.

Thoroughly chew each bite and sip water during your meal. Yogis, and Yoginis, learn to pace their breath in Pranayama practice. Therefore, you should pace yourself in regard to eating and breathing at mealtime. You should not be short of breath while eating. If you are, you make eating into a stressful situation. You learn to breathe in Yoga class, and you should continue proper breath control at every possible moment.

If you work in a company that doesn't allow time for eating, eat small nutritionally dense snacks, and look for another job. Companies that function, in this way, are killing their employees with stress. This is not a harmonious atmosphere, and the stress will get you too.

Lastly, remember that weight control is not a mathematical formula. There are many intangibles that "fly under the radar." Science cannot yet accurately measure the power of your mind, commitment, and spiritual health.

Yoga is much more than an exercise class. At present, Yoga is the most complete health system known to humankind. Yoga encompasses mental, physical and spiritual health.

There are some Chinese internal martial arts systems that come close, but Yoga is the Mother of most Asian martial arts systems. How is this possible?

Bodidharma, an Indian Buddhist monk, taught a form of Yoga to the monks at the Shaolin temple for health maintenance. Due to his visit, the Shaolin temple became the birthplace of Ch'an Buddhism. Also resulting from this encounter, Chinese Kung Fu was born, and many styles of martial arts have continued to evolve to this day.

There is so much to learn about Yoga that none of us will be able to learn everything in one lifetime. The results of regular Yoga practice, and the lessons in mindfulness taught by a competent Yoga teacher, will help you control your weight and so much more.

New Year's Weight Loss Resolutions: How to Make Them Stick

If You Are Not A Certified IDIOT and Want to Loss Your Weight INSTANTLY Then CICK HERE

>>  WEIGHT LOSS INSTANTLY - SIMPLE DIET PLAN THAT MAKES YOU CRAZY - CLICK HERE <<

What happened to last year's resolution? Are the pounds still there?

Did you happen to inherit some more? If you find yourself in one of

these situations, you are among the many others who vowed to do it

right. Many new resolutions are the same as previous years; success

starts like a thoroughbred race horse out of the gate but peters out

over the course of the long track. Start this year out on a positive

note and follow these tips to help you stick to your resolution of

losing weight.

1. Look internally to understand how you gained the excess weight.

Create awareness to internal and external forces that triggered the

lack of exercise or the lack of controlling your caloric intake. A

journal of daily activity, exercise, and caloric intake will help

you understand how you got yourself in this dilemma.

2. Why do you want to lose weight? Is it for better health, self

image, confidence, increased energy, a certain social event or just

because everyone is telling you to? Write the reasons down and

visualize obtaining your goal. Be specific in writing down your

goals. Just saying "I need to lose weight this year" might not be

the best way to help you reach that goal. Saying, "I want to lose 15

pounds in 8 weeks" will have a greater psychological effect toward

your progress.

3. Does it fit into your lifestyle? Know that some

changes will have to be made. Are these changes possible for you to

do on a long term basis? The best changes are those that replace or

counter an old habit. You may have to come out of your comfort zone

to change some habits. Can you handle those changes?

4. Planning and preparation. Actions need a lot of preparation. What

will you need prior to taking action? Is it learning about shopping

for products that are lower in calories or will it entail getting up

earlier to make breakfast and to pack a lunch?

5. Make it a high priority. If you do not position it as an

important goal you might let other errands get in your path. Let

everyone know what and why you are changing. Support from others

will guide you to stay on the right path. Commitment to your

resolution will allow you to take the proper actions and allow them

to continue.

6. Measure your progress and be persistent. How are you tracking

your progression? Keeping a spreadsheet or a journal, stating the

progress you are making, will help you stay committed to your new

changes. Remember to enjoy other benefits you will receive by eating

healthier and exercising. Weight loss may not come as quickly as you

would like but remember these small changes will eventually lead to

a better you.

7. Learn from setbacks and then move on. You are bound to slip up or

have a lapse from time to time. Learn from these slip ups and figure

out how to overcome the same situation as it may occur again. Try

not to justify behaviors by good reasons for your bad habits.

Following these tips will help keep you on the right path toward

your resolution. If you can find the right combination of small

changes that work for you, you will find it easier to maintain or

lose that weight. Wouldn't it be nice to avoid another resolution to

lose weight next year?

Using the Medifast Diet? Medifast Diets are meal replacement programs that helps most people lose weight faster than traditional food-based diet plans. Medifast products come in individual packets that you mix with water to create a "shake" similar to an instant breakfast drink. Medifast is available in a wide variety of flavors as well as several alternate choices including protein bars, creamy soups, chili, oatmeal and hot cocoa. Medifast Diets help you to lose weight.

How does Medifast work? The clinically proven results of Medifast are based on the use of a defined formula diet. The program was carefully designed to create a gap between the calories you take in and the amount your body needs. Each nutritionally balanced meal replacement is formulated with a proven combination of carbohydrates and protein to allow you to successfully lose weight without losing muscle.

How fast do you lose? Women average 2 to 4 pounds a week, men slightly faster (up to five pounds a week or more). Medifast low calorie diets require medical monitoring to minimize the potential for health risks.

Is it safe? Medifast programs have been recommended by over 15,000 physicians and used by over one million customers. Medifast has been providing a clinically proven approach to weight loss and nutrition for over 20 years.

Medifast is offered direct to the public. This makes it available to people of all sizes, not just the very obese or health-challenged patient. While the Medifast program still recommends physician involvement, the products are offered by "Health Advisors", who are expected to provide ongoing support, encouragement, and information to the clients. Health advisors are offered training opportunities to enable them to assist clients with long-term lifestyle changes, as well as short-term diet goals. Food can be ordered online, and there is a medical hotline number available to answer questions about being on the Medifast food plans. It is also not an exclusively liquid diet. It includes bars, chili, oatmeal, and crackers in addition to shakes and soups. To get started with the Medifast Program, please see Medifast Diet.

The Best Weight Loss Program And Ultimate Self Help Book For The New Year

If You Are Not A Certified IDIOT and Want to Loss Your Weight INSTANTLY Then CICK HERE

>>  WEIGHT LOSS INSTANTLY - SIMPLE DIET PLAN THAT MAKES YOU CRAZY - CLICK HERE <<

Reprogramming the Overweight Mind 7 Steps to Taking Control of the Subconscious does not follow the usual weight loss and diet book formula. There is not even a diet in the book. Instead the primary focus is on the behavior of eating and over 20 years have been spent perfecting the clinically proven program contained within the book. Every other book on weight loss has taken the position of attacking the body to try and change the mind.

The health of your body is dependent on your mental health and taking control of the subconscious is the key to lasting permanent change of any behavior. The subconscious mind is like a car without an off switch and an unknown driver. If you decide not to drive because you do not know how, it is going to drive itself. To give you an idea of the power of the subconscious, you can speak at a rate of about two to three hundred words per minute. Your subconscious runs at a rate of about one thousand to twelve hundred words per minute which is about four times faster than you can speak. This is why you can talk on the phone and perform other tasks like typing on the computer or driving a car because the subconscious is already programmed to do the other tasks.

You can look at the conscious mind and the subconscious mind like a tug of war with a vat of mud in the middle for whom ever loses. The conscious mind is one person on one side against the subconscious, which are four people on the other side. If the conscious mind decides to move in a different direction like changing your diet, losing weight, increasing your fitness program or any other change in your behavior, it is usually a losing proposition because you are simply out numbered with information. The only way you can insure permanent behavior change is take control of the subconscious.

The Audio/Data CD included with the book is what makes this book the Best Weight Loss Program and Ultimate Self Help Book for the New Year? The audio portion of the CD is a guided meditation that is based on information collected in the first six steps of the program as opposed to using generic information. The Data portion of the CD includes all the documents necessary to perform a study that measures the dramatic improvement of the emotional state of the person using the program. The program process is based on the reality that all behavior is emotionally driven so if you understand how an emotional state comes about you can intervene and change the behavior. This is the foundation of the book and why it works for the full spectrum of behavior, not just weight loss, fitness motivation and eating disorders. All of this would not have much meaning if the book did not answer the most fundamental question first. What determines human (your) behavior? I have worked with people who have been in therapy for 20 years and can not answer this question. They can not answer the question because the therapist they are working with can not answer it. How can you help someone change a behavior if you do not know what brings a behavior about to begin with?

Many people have reported that just the first two chapters of the book have made a significant difference in their lives. Because of this response Kelly has released the first two chapters for distribution free of charge.

Regardless of weather your health goal is a change in diet for weight loss, an increase in your fitness program or to take control of an eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia. In the end the question you need to ask yourself is?Am I completely happy with the mind running itself or do I need to take control of it? If your answer is I need to take control of it, then Burris MIND/FITNESS is the answer.

8 Ways To Create Balance To Achieve Lasting Weight Loss

If You Are Not A Certified IDIOT and Want to Loss Your Weight INSTANTLY Then CICK HERE

>>  WEIGHT LOSS INSTANTLY - SIMPLE DIET PLAN THAT MAKES YOU CRAZY - CLICK HERE <<

Need to lose weight? Dreading the thought of another diet program? You don?t have to follow diets to lose weight. There are many people discovering this for themselves and they are the ones who are finding long term weight loss apposed to short term fixes. The key to weight loss is finding the right balance of what you eat, what you think, and what activity you do. It is not about following a perfect plan. It is impossible to be perfect every day! Finding the right balance helps you to decrease your calorie intake, increase your metabolism and keeps the self-sabotage at bay. Here are 8 steps to bring more balance into all corners of your life so you too can find weight loss success.

1. Eat more frequently during the day-
Skipping meals or waiting too long between meals can have a negative impact on your metabolism and results in overeating later in the day. It?s best to have 3 small meals and 1-2 snacks throughout the day. You will feel more satisfied and eat less. Plan to have a snack or meal every 4-5 hours.

2. Watch portion sizes-
Appropriate portion sizes are still quite misunderstood. Most Americans are eating 2-3 times the recommended portion sizes. Limit your grains, cereals, pastas, and rice to ? - 1 cup serving sizes. Keep meat, poultry and fish to 4-ounce portion sizes. Restaurants are notorious for giving extremely large servings of food. Keep this in mind when eating out. Eat half of the food on your plate or take the rest home for lunch the next day. Studies show that when people are given large portion sizes, they eat up to 56% more calories without realizing it. To add insult to injury, our portion sizes are larger than they have ever been. Start to become more aware of the portions you are served wherever you are.

3. Eat the right fats-
Yes some fat is important. Omega 3 fatty acids are an important strategy for weight loss success and yet most Americans are not eating enough of these healthy fats. Some reports show these fatty acids may be helpful in increasing your metabolism. They are also shown to be a wonderful mood supporter and people report significantly less food cravings and triggers to eat when they incorporate omega 3 fatty acids on a daily basis. This is especially important for any emotional eaters out there. Omega 3?s are found in fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, cod; they are also found in canola oil, walnuts, and ground flax seeds.

4. Increase fruits and vegetables-
Fruits and vegetables are not only packed with important vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, they are also loaded in fiber and low in calories. Include 5-8 fruits and vegetables every day. This is one of the most important diet changes you can make. When you fill your plate up with fruits and vegetables you eat less of the higher calorie foods. For example, let?s take a sample steak dinner.

Original meal:
8 ounce steak
Whole baked potato with fixings
? cup steamed broccoli

Meal Makeover:
4 ounce steak
? baked potato with fixings
? cup steamed broccoli
Side salad with mixed greens, tomatoes, and 1 tbsp light vinaigrette dressing

By changing the balance of this meal to include more vegetables while decreasing the steak and potato we saved approximately 350 calories. Saving 350 calories daily can result in almost a 1 pound weight loss per week. Small changes are the key.

5. Eat when you?re hungry, stop when you?re full-
Our bodies have an innate weight management mechanism. It performs this task by making you feel full when it is time to stop eating. Every time you eat past full you are taking in more calories than your body needs which will result in weight gain. Start to become more aware of your internal cues for hunger and satiety (fullness). You will be amazed how many times you wait too long to eat and how often you eat past full and enter into stuffed. It?s common for all of us to do this from time to time. However, it?s time to check in with yourself and see how often you are falling into these food patterns. Listen to your body, it will tell you when you are physically ready for food and when you are ready to stop.

6. Exercise regularly-
I know, this isn?t anything you haven?t heard before but it is a crucial part of weight management. It is important to engage in regular aerobic and weight bearing activity. The aerobic exercise helps you to burn the fat and weight bearing activity increases your metabolic rate. Muscle burns up to 90% more calories than fat. The more muscle mass you have, the more calories you will burn in a day. By adding three to five pounds of muscle you could actually burn 100 - 250 additional calories a day. This combination of aerobic and weight bearing activity is what really kicks weight loss into gear.

7. Limit sugar-
Sugar becomes a major issue for many people wanting to lose weight. Not only does it add calories, it also causes insulin spikes leading you to store more calories as fat, it stimulates your appetite, and is a major food trigger for emotional eaters. However, it doesn?t mean you need to go all or nothing. When people try to omit all sugar from their diet they can become obsessed about sugary foods and end up in a binge. Find the right balance for sugar. Avoid daily use of sugar and instead have some guiltless treats once in awhile. A little cake at a birthday party or some ice-cream with friends is a good way to incorporate sugar once in awhile to avoid the negative outcomes.

8. Pamper yourself regularly-
Who wants to argue with that?! The reality is many people eat for emotional reasons. Food makes us feel good on many levels. The problem occurs when eating becomes the only coping mechanism your subconscious knows of. This is why that pesky urge to emotionally eat is so strong. It is hard to reason your way out of it. For many people food is the only thing they know that makes them feel better. When you start to do other things that make you feel good on a regular basis such as taking a hot bath, going for a walk, having a hot cup of tea; then your subconscious starts to register these activities as coping mechanisms as well. Over time this will decrease the constant urge to use food. You can?t expect to have a bad day, go take a bath and not have an urge to eat. It is something you need to do regularly and something you truly enjoy so your subconscious starts to recognize it as a new choice.

Phentermine is one of the most popular anti-obesity diet pills known to dieters across the world. It is a diet pill used for the short-term management and treatment of obesity.

Phentermine is readily available in its 15, 30 and 37.5 mg tablets and extended-releases. It usually is taken as a single daily dose in the morning or three times a day 30 minutes before meals for maximum effectiveness.

However, using Phentermine on a daily basis can be habit-forming and addictive. There are long-term effects of Phentermine if used on a consistent basis. Temporary side effects including: blurred vision, dizziness, dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, stomach upset, hest pain, nervousness, pounding heart, difficulty urinating, mood changes and breathing difficulties usually disappear within a few days of using Phentermine. However, Phentermine can be very addictive and if abused, can make some of those side effects permanent.

What is Phentermine?

Oral Phentermine Hydrochloride (HCL) is sold for weight loss. It is in the Sympathomimetic family of appetite suppressants (used for the short-term management of exogenous obesity.) When used in conjunction with diet, exercise, and behavior therapy, Phentermine may help you to lose weight while you are learning new ways to eat and to exercise.

Three forms of Phentermine are available:

TABLETS
CAPSULES
RESIN CAPSULES

How does Phentermine work?

Phentermine works by stimulating the hypothalamus gland and affecting certain neurotransmitters to decrease appetite. The hypothalamus is the region of the brain that controls the autonomic nervous system, regulating sleep cycles, body temperature, appetite, etc.

Proper Use of Phentermine

Phentermine should be taken on an empty stomach, once daily, prior to breakfast. If in tablet form, the tablet may be broken or cut in half. Do NOT break, crush, or chew tablets.

As Phentermine may disrupt normal sleep patterns, avoid taking a dose late in the day. If taking more than one dose a day, take the last dose approx. 4-6 hours prior to going to bed.

The following information is specific only to the average doses of Phentermine. The recommended dose of Phentermine may be different for different patients. If your dose is different, do NOT change it unless your doctor tells you to do so.

Adults under Age 60

Oral dosage form (Capsules) - 15 to 37.5 mg once/day before breakfast or 1-2 hours after breakfast.

Oral dosage form (Tablets) - 15 to 37.5 mg once/day before breakfast or 1-2 hours after breakfast. Instead of taking it once a day, your doctor may tell you to take 15 to 37.5 mg in divided doses one-half hour before meals.

Oral resin dosage form (Capsules) - 15 to 30 mg once/day before breakfast.

Adults Age 60 and Over

A reduced dosage may be necessary. Consult your physician.

Infants and Children

Phentermine is NOT recommended for children under age 16.

Maximum Dosage Recommendations

Take Phentermine ONLY as directed by your doctor.

Do NOT take more of it

Do NOT take it more often, and

Do NOT take it for a longer time than your doctor ordered.

If too much Phentermine is taken, it may cause unwanted effects or become habit-forming.

Please speak with your doctor if you think that Phentermine is not working properly after you have taken it for a few weeks. DO NOT increase the dose. http://www.phentermine-xenical-4you.com

How does Dietrine work? During the digestive process, your body converts carbohydrates, found in starchy foods such as potatoes and pasta, into sugar. Your body does this by breaking-down the carbohydrate molecule with alpha amylase, an enzyme that is produced in the pancreas.

These sugar calories are either burned off, through exercise, or stored as fat cells for future use. Unfortunately, inactivity means that these stored fat cells accumulate. The result is weight gain.

Dietrine Carb Blocker with Phase 2?, an exclusive, all-natural nutritional ingredient extracted from white kidney beans, "neutralizes" the digestive enzyme alpha amylase before it can convert starch into glucose and then fat. Essentially, it allows the carbohydrates to pass through the system with less caloric intake.* The Phase 2? starch blocker has been clinically proven to reduce the absorption of starch by 66%-75% resulting in significantly less net caloric intake.
